I had the privilege of attending the 2025 Harley-Davidson press event in Austin, Texas, where the motor company unveiled something truly extraordinary. Behind closed doors, away from prying eyes, sat a motorcycle never seen before—until now. By the time you read this, the embargo will have lifted, and I can finally introduce you to the 2025 Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide RR, a machine that takes inspiration straight from MotoAmerica King of the Baggers racing. (see video below)
A Limited-Edition Collectible
This is not just another touring bike. The 2025 CVO Road Glide RR is a limited-production, handcrafted masterpiece, designed for those who demand top-tier performance and exclusivity. With only 131 units being produced and sold exclusively through select U.S. dealers, this is a collector’s dream.
Before you dismiss the $110,000 price tag, consider what this bike represents. It’s Harley-Davidson’s most powerful and dynamic production motorcycle ever, a statement piece showcasing the company’s engineering excellence and commitment to performance.

Powering the Beast: The Screamin’ Eagle 131 Engine
At the heart of the CVO Road Glide RR is the all-new Screamin’ Eagle 131 V-Twin engine, the most powerful factory-installed Milwaukee-Eight motor ever built.
- 153 horsepower at 5,750 RPM
- 150 ft-lbs of torque at 4,750 RPM
- 6,500 RPM redline
- SE8-550 high-performance camshaft
- Billet aluminum powertrain covers for enhanced durability and weight reduction
- Performance-tuned Akrapovič titanium exhaust system, 50-state legal
This is as close as you can get to a full-on race bike while still being street legal.
High-Tech Suspension & Handling
The CVO Road Glide RR comes equipped with fully adjustable race-spec Öhlins suspension, bringing factory race technology to the street.
- 43mm inverted Öhlins FGR 253 hypersport Superbike forks (front)
- Screamin’ Eagle Öhlins dual remote reservoir shocks (rear)
- Increased lean angles: 36° (right) and 35° (left) compared to the standard Road Glide’s 32°
Custom billet aluminum swingarm, 10% lighter and 10% stiffer than the stock steel version
Weight reduction was a major focus in the bike’s design, with extensive use of carbon fiber composite, including the front and rear fenders, side covers, tank console, fork nacelle, and radiator shroud. Even the fairing, saddlebags, and lids incorporate an industry-first carbon fiber and Kevlar layup, making the bike 50 lbs lighter than the CVO Road Glide ST.

Now let me get this right…about $20-30k more expensive than a new ‘Vette.
I don’t think so🫤
beautiful bike, but, wowww$$
beautiful bike, it’s all about speed and racing performance.. one of a kind factory bike. Looks like it would be a hell of lot of fun. This would be too pricey for me however , as a bike just to tear up the track.
what a waste of corporate money——bring back the super glide
Saw this bike live in Daytona unless your a must have unique collector it’s a big waste of money. Met a guy who claimed he bought one to add to his collection not ride. From what I saw this just isn’t fit for the daily rider or anyone who rides and puts on miles. It’s a $110000 show piece! Imho
Most will probably end up in collections like Jay Leno’s or Keana Reeves’s. If I had the expendable cash, absolutely.
