Will this adjustment work on the 2014 hydraulic clutch also?
Ryan Urlacher says
Karl; There is no external adjustment for the 2014, as it is hydraulic. The hydraulic clutches are set just right. If a clutch adjustment needs to be made it will have to be done by removing the clutch inspection plate and doing things with the clutch plate. Believe it or not, I am working on that exact video now (editing) and I should have it out soon. To know when I release the FREE video sing up for the free email club.

Ryan,
Box end and even an offset wrench is a real pain and can strip the nut. I purchased a 11/16 socket and then welded a large nut (5/8) to the top of the socket. Now you can hold the adj screw with the allen wrench and hold the nut with the socket and tighten with a adustable wrench on the welded nut that is on the socket. Advice to welding, careful while welding the nut to a chrome plated socket…deadly gases are generated. Use an acid to burn the chrome at the weld site. This little tool works wonders and you won’t strip the locking nut. Keep up the great work….your videos are invaluable to us garage monkies!

Have done this many times but don’t forget to lube your cable since the top end gets the most exposure to the elements!

Thanks for the video on clutch adjustment. The best tool is a open end socket set that you can buy from harbor freight. That’s what I use. But keep up the great work on the videos
