J&M Audio Rokker XX Extreme Amp & Speakers
Summary
Overall, the Harley J&M Rokker XX Extreme audio system adds a ton of high-quality sound and is a great addition to the stock Harley Boom!™ Box Infotainment system. It is nice that if your Boom Box has not been changed/flashed from stock then you don't need to make a trip to the dealership after the J&M install.
The J&M is about $100 cheaper than the Harley Boom Audio Stage 2 kit, but the price point is still higher compared to competitor systems. However, the J&M system is slightly easier to install compared to some competitor systems, which require some minor splicing. The install instructions that come with the J&M system can confuse any technician. Our official J&M Rokker XX Extreme Speakers & Amp Install Video makes it a breeze.
It is also nice that the J&M amp doesn't need any adjustments after install and they have it all dialed in to work optimally with the Boom Box system. We cranked the system all the way up and got no distortion.

Note: With the J&M Rokker XX Extreme amp & speakers install you will not need a Harley dealership to “flash” or “re-program” your Boom!™ Box Infotainment System after install if you have never flashed the Boom Box before for any other configuration than stock. If you have flashed the Boom Box for another audio system of some sort then you will need to visit your dealership and have it flashed. The stock Boom Box configuration is set to “0” amps and “4” speakers out of the factory. This configuration is what the J&M Rokker XX Extreme is specifically set to work with.
Save your money and do this project yourself right in your garage or on your patio right on the kickstand. No fancy motorcycle lifts, jacks or tools needed.
The video is very thorough and we show you different options for routing and managing wires. We explain what each component actually does and armed with this knowledge the project is a breeze.
As usual, the paper instructions provided by J&M with the amp and speaker kit will confuse and frustrate you. That is where this video comes in by breaking it down and showing you exactly how to do each step and why. You will watch in high definition and at the best possible angles. You will listen to actual bikers explain and show things in a way that is easy to understand. It is as if you are right there with us and can reach out and turn a wrench or plug in a wiring harness! This is a video by bikers for bikers. You simply won't find a better J&M Rokker XX Extreme amp and speaker kit install tutorial video out there.

Bought the J&M system in January. First time out it blew the accessory fuse after two hours. Replaced it and it did it again . Called J&M , and they said to send it in to them. They called and said it was defective and sent a new one. They did not offer to pay for shipping that cost me $20. I installed the new one and had same problem. Emailed John at J&M and he said he would send new system, speakers and all. Never received it after a month. I then installed a bike Tronics amp and I have zero problems. I started to talk to dealers and did some research on the Internet . Everyone I talked to said J&M is junk. I strongly agree . I thought this system after watching your video . Now I have a $1200 door stop

Sorry you had problems. Don’t like hearing that. I can tell you that I have ZERO affiliation with J&M. I can only tell you that we are running quite a few J&M systems and have experienced none of the problems you have. Thanks for commenting. BTW: when this “Bike Tronics” wants their system reviewed I guess they’ll send one. I’ve heard some stuff about them too here and there. Who knows.

Ok I paid for video. I do believe it will very helpful with this amp. Like you said the instructions suck.
But the problem i have is.
How long does it take to send to me?
Paid for it, and haven’t received anything yet.
Just wondering how long before I get the video.
Thanks for the tips for this amp.

You received an email receipt upon purchase. If you don’t have it, check your junk/spam email folder as it will be there. Also, I went ahead and sent you a new email receipt just now.
Once you find the email, get on any device with a good internet connection and hit the big green “watch” button. If there are multiple video files with your video you may also have a “download” button. You can hit the green “download” button and then see each video file available to you. Next to each video file is a “watch” button. Enjoy!
Please, save your email receipt for future access.
