I took my Harley Boom Audio aftermarket speakers out of my 2011 Harley Street Glide and put the stock speakers back in. This is because I purchased a 2014 Harley Street Glide Special (SGS).
You don't get anything extra by selling or trading your used Harley Davidson with aftermarket speakers installed. I made more money by removing them and selling them separately on Ebay, Amazon, or Craigslist.
You never recoup the money you have invested by selling your Harley or other brand motorcycle with all the aftermarket products you have purchased and installed. However, some products that are labor intensive and may involve much more install/uninstall time may not be worth removing (new handlebars with wiring etc). Pick and choose what is worth removing easily/timely and worthy of getting a great return of investment (ROI) for your time.
