In this free tutorial video, we show you how to install an AIM Light Force Clutch Slave Cylinder on a Harley Davidson with a hydraulic clutch. AIM’s revolutionary Light Force Slave Cylinder provides a noticeable decrease in clutch lever pull. This will also bring your clutch friction zone closer to the grip, also widening the friction zone for easier clutch modulation. This heavy duty slave cylinder is made with a steel piston with upgraded seals, paired with a special surface treatment for super low friction to help further the longevity and the ease of operation of the slave cylinder.
Features:
- Increased friction zone, while bringing the zone closer to the grip for easier clutch modulation.
- Easier to pull clutch.
- Black Anodized with special coating for high durability.
- Uses factory hardware.
- Installs behind the factory transmission end cover.
- Direct bolt on, no modifications needed.
This product is meant to be used with all factory components. Factory grips, lever, factory & Screamin eagle clutch plate kit are highly recommended for proper operation of the Light Force Clutch.
The use of Harley Davidson Genuine Oils is highly recommended. i.e. Harley Davidson Premium DOT 4, Formula + (both primary & transmission)

Can this be used if I already have psr levers on my bike? It’s a 2020 HD street glide.
Ryan Urlacher says
Yes, it changes the pull of the levers. Levers should have nothing to do with it.

Will it work for Street Glide Special model 2015
Matt Couchman says
Yes, there is a model that works for the 2016-2016 models. Here is a link: https://bit.ly/3cBWSJG

Thanks for your reply but I already have hydraulic clutch factory fitted. Still I need to buy master cylinder kit?
It’s 2015 FLHXS

Have you ever reviewed the Rekluse clutch? I had one installed on my 2015 Street Glide Special but the clutch pull killed my hands, so I decided to get a slave cylinder installed. The Harley shop ordered an Aim, but then called and told me that it wouldn’t work on my bike, so I called Rekluse and they have a slave cylinder that will work. It’s now snowy and cold here in MN so I won’t be able to test it till spring. Just wondering if you have any experience with Rekluse. I have 74,000 miles on my SGS and LOVE riding! Your videos are great – thanks! (Also – don’t forget that little ladies ride too – I’m 5’6″, 120 lbs. and have 2 Harleys. Riding is all I want to do!
Matt Couchman says
We haven’t reviewed Rekluse yet. I can tell you that the AIM slave cylinder will work on a 2015 Street Glide Special, but you have to upgrade your master cylinder. Here is a link to the kit you would need for your bike: https://bit.ly/3tPCEkW

Daughter has a 2016 Softail Slim. Which model AIM would work for her? Thanks, Jerry Harbowy

Installed this about 6 months ago. I have arthritic hands and this makes everything feel pretty great. I highly recommend!
Not sure how Harley couldn’t figure this out but it works perfectly!
