Motorcycle biker clubs can operate in many different ways. Some are unorganized and lack leadership within. In a sense, and depending on your definition, that may not even be considered a true “motorcycle club”, but more of a “riding group”. In my years I have watched many motorcycle clubs and groups come and go and I can guarantee in most every case it was because of a lack of organization, structure, and leadership. With poor or no leadership there is no order or any reason for members to even have order. With that comes little groups & clicks within, lack of direction, lack of order, lack of pride, & lack of control. That will all erode a club or group's foundation in time.

Recently, we received an inquiry where an individual was having a problem when synced between his smartphone and his Boom Box system via bluetooth and playing music. The music playback would stop/freeze and he was also not able to fast forward, rewind, or move on with the joystick toggles on the handlebars or via the touchscreen on the 6.5 Boom Box model. It was also tested with the smartphone/music player plugged directly into the Boom Box via the USB port in the juke box compartment on the Harley and the same issue presented itself.

Many times in the past we have fixed situations like this by flashing the Boom Box system back to factory etc. See our original Boom! Box Tutorial Video to learn how to do this & a ton of other things. It can solve many issues if your system locks up.

Normally, when synced (bluetooth) via a smartphone or iPod (MP3 player) with the Boom Box or when plugged directly in via a USB cable you can control your music player/smartphone via the toggles on the handlebars or via touch screen. This is the way it is supposed to work.

It is often times well over that amount, yet we know you can do this project yourself by watching this tutorial video. You will not find a more thorough aftermarket handlebar install tutorial video out there. It is a video by bikers for bikers. You can put new handlebars on your Harley right in your garage or on your patio right on the kickstand! There are no specialty tools or motorcycle lifts required and I will give you a list of items you will need and things to think about later in this article.

The video is high definition and it is if you can reach out and turn the wrenches with us. In this video we skip no steps and we have no doubt that after watching you can do this project with ease. Tons of bikers all over the world now have aftermarket handlebars on their Harley's because of this exact video. We are very detailed in our explanations and we want you to be successful. That is where we get our greatest satisfaction.

There are many aftermarket handlebars for your Harley Davidson motorcycle in every shape, color, and size imaginable and the cost can vary just as much. There are many companies making quick connect/install kits. Most of these simple kits are the same and come with a bundle of colored wires for extending  wire harnesses, quick connectors, and shrink tube. If you are going with taller style handlebars then the kit may also include an extended clutch cable and extended front brake lines.

Many of these handlebar wiring kits have quick connect pins for extending the stock wire harnesses. You usually take off the stock plastic harley wire plugs, extend the wires with the quick kit colored wires, and then plug back into the stock plugs all without soldering. You can always snip the quick connectors that come with the wire kits and solder if you are more comfortable with that.

There are also kits with the OEM plugs on the end of the wire extensions to quickly hook up after soldering the attached extensions in. Either way, we have you covered in this video. We show you how to proceed depending on your particular kit, which aren't much different.

We can tell you from experience that you will want to have a soldering iron and solder on hand. Often times because of bulky plugs it may be necessary to solder a bit to make things clean and easy. Your extension kit may also require soldering. Don't worry, we make soldering so easy and show you exactly how to do it properly in this video.

Most the time you can go as tall as 12″ aftermarket handlebars without having to replace wires, cables, and lines. I said, “most the time”, so you need to do your own research for your particular year and model before you begin your project.

Sit Stay Ride Sidecar Dogs Biker Motorcycle PodcastPODCAST-In this episode I have the pleasure of interviewing Eric Ristau from Missoula, Montana. Eric and his wife Geneva are independent filmmakers. Their most recent film is called Sit Stay Ride and is a special story of America's motorcycle sidecar dogs and was about a year in the making.

They started the film as a crowdfunding project on Kickstarter and it was quickly funded and went into production. It was clear many supported this sort of movie, which is a documentary film on motorcyclists and their dogs that ride in their motorcycle side cars. The movie is filmed in numerous states and riders from all walks of life are subjects of the documentary.

The movie really captures the essence of both the freedom of riding a motorcycle along with the close relationships between man and dog. So, the movie will capture not only the attention of bikers & motorcyclists, but also that of avid dog lovers. Or anyone who wants to see a well put together documentary and be inspired about the simpler things in life. The best part is that 25% of the proceeds of this film will be donated to animal rescue organizations!

There is now a page that has everything to do with motorcycle lift tables and jacks. We are reviewing, filming, and testing these lifts and jacks for all the bikaholics out there! The market is saturated with these things and it can be very hard to sift through. Yes, there is a lot of junk out there and some are even unsafe!

In this podcast episode you will listen in as I actually talk with Ian Gilmore of Redline Engineering. I end up ordering the Titan 1000D motorcycle lift table and you get to hear the entire process! Ian has a ton of information about motorcycle lift tables and the industry in general.

The market is saturated with motorcycle lift tables, jacks, & companies. It can be overwhelming when you start shopping for a lift. The last thing we want is for a biker/motorcyclist to spend their hard-earned money on a motorcycle lift table or jack only to get ripped off or treated badly by a company that doesn’t care about them.
