We installed the Megaphones on Rick “Big Daddy” Kane's 2001 Harley Road King. We really liked the quality, look, and overall sound of these mufflers. You can add different tips depending on your taste.

Video-Install Kuryakyn Extended Harley Brake Pedal-Is it worth it? Safety?

Harley stock rear brake pedals are too far back and sit up too high. It's hard to cover your brake with your foot when approaching intersections. It is just an unnatural position and a safety issue as your toes actually sit underneath the rear brake pedal while resting your feet on the floorboards. (see install video below)

I don't know why Harley puts stock rear brake pedals in this ridiculous position. I am 5′-8″ tall and average size and the pedal is still awkward. I can only imagine how awkward it feels for taller riders. I need to be able to comfortably cover my rear brake and also apply it quickly if necessary.

This is why we now put Kuryakyn Extended Brake Pedals on all our Harley touring models and carry them right in the Law Abiding Biker Store. It puts the pedal forward about 2 1/4″ and lowers it. I can tell you this is significant and puts it in a much more ergonomic position. It makes it safer to easily cover your brake and apply your rear brake quickly without your toes being underneath it.

Video-Bassani 2×2 Dual Head Pipes For Harley Touring | Install Tutorial & Review

Video-In this completely free tutorial video, we show you exactly how to install Bassani 2×2 Dual head pipes on a Harley Davidson touring motorcycle. This header system gets rid of your catalytic converter (cat), opening up the flow, increasing power & sound, & greatly reducing heat on the rider. Cats create a large amount of heat.

Note: Always check your local, state, and federal laws regarding motorcycle exhaust systems.

The Bassani pipes are nice because they are basically the exact same as the stock Harley head pipes minus the catalytic (cat) converter. This opens up the flow of exhaust, creates power & sound, and significantly cuts down on the heat on a rider. They also re-use the stock chrome heat shields, which saves you money. These headers have both 18mm and 12mm O2 sensor ports. You can use your stock Harley o2 sensors with these headers. If you want to change your O2 sensors out and use wide-band O2 sensors then you can use the larger 18mm ports. Plugs come with the headers for 12mm and 18mm, so you can plug one set off.

Putting these headers on increased the sound of Lurch's bike, because of the cat now being gone. It also increased performance & cut out a ton of heat. Lurch was already running V&H Titan 450 OS slip-on mufflers.

Remapping your motorcycle's Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) is necessary when you change the flow of exhaust or air intake on your Harley, such as we did in these exhaust installs. We didn't notice any significant increase or decrease in performance after install of these Python True Duals. However, we did notice a great improvement in sound and the reduction of heat from having no cats. We do have some back pressure with these Pythons because Big Daddy is running Vance & Hines Eliminator 400 slip-on mufflers with them.

In this video, I review and show you how to install a Custom Dynamics Strobe Brake Light Modulator on a Harley-Davidson touring motorcycle. This module allows you to select up to 9 individual strobe patterns that will emit from your rear LED brake lights when you apply your front or rear brake on your motorcycle. This greatly reduces the risks that you will get rear ended. It grabs the attention of that cage driver behind you that is not paying attention and might even be texting. ***This Custom Dynamics Strobe Modulator will not work with your stock Harley halogen bulbs. You'll need to convert your old halogen bulbs to an LED system. This Custom Dynamics Strobe Modulator is really easy to install and is plug and play. I show you exactly how and where to plug the unit in on your Harley touring model.

I show you how to set the two switches on the modulator and how to adjust the 9 different strobe patterns. You can watch the pattern I selected and see how it looks.

Note: Make sure to disconnect the negative side of your battery before installing for safety. Also, turn your ignition off when selecting new strobe patterns. Then turn your ignition back on and test to see if you like the pattern.

Video-In this video we show you how to install Ciro 3D Fang LED Signal Light Inserts on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. These are really cool and quick to install. They come in black or chrome. You'll get a much brighter look than those stock bulbs. These Ciro 3D Fang LED's install easily and turn in just like your bulb does. They really are “plug and play”. I love the look of the Fangs as they protrude out at the top and narrow at the bottom.

Stock halogen bulb Harley signals and brake lights are boring and dull. These Ciro 3D Fang LED signals and brake lights are a ton brighter. Motorcycle riders want to be seen better any chance we get and these LED signals definitely help.

These Fangs provide additional white light to the front. When you turn the signals on they turn to amber. On the rear, they are white until you turn the ignition on and they turn to red. Hit your rear signals and get the red signal light. You get additional bright red light when you hit the brakes.

I love the extra white light up front next to my awesome Ciro 3D Vision X LED Headlight! It makes for a great combination of bright light at the front of my Harley Street Glide Special.

Note: After install, hit your hazard lights for a bit to sync your dash panel signal light indicator, so it flashes at the same rate.
