The new PSR Anthem Pro Adjustable Lever Colored Ends & Barell Adjusters are now available at the Law Abiding Biker™ Store! They are a great way to dress your levers up and really make them pop!
These colored ends and barrel adjusters fit on any PSR Anthem Pro Adjustable Lever.

We offer three PSR lever models:

Understanding and adjusting the suspension sag on your motorcycle is crucial for improving your ride quality, safety, and handling. Many riders overlook or don’t regularly check their suspension sag, often because they aren’t sure how to do it or think it requires a second person. This guide will walk you through everything you need to know about setting sag, regardless of whether you’re riding a street bike, adventure bike, or dirt bike. Plus, I’ll introduce you to a tool that simplifies the process so you can do it entirely on your own—the Slacker Sag Tool. (see video below)
Suspension sag is the amount your motorcycle settles or “squats” under its own weight and your weight (including passengers and luggage) when you sit on it. Setting the proper sag is essential because it determines where your suspension will sit within its travel range, allowing it to absorb impacts effectively and create an overall great ride.
Every suspension system is designed with a set amount of travel (usually measured in millimeters). For optimal performance, about one-third of this travel should be set as sag. Setting the correct sag:
If your sag is set incorrectly, you risk poor handling and traction, which can be dangerous when encountering obstacles, potholes, or rough terrain.
When adjusting your sag, you may also hear the term “preload.” Although they work together, preload is simply the adjustment you make on your suspension to set your desired sag. Some manufacturers, like Harley-Davidson, provide a guideline based on rider and passenger weight, which can help you get close, but fine-tuning is essential to match your specific riding setup.
You can measure sag using a basic tape measure, a Motion Pro Sag Scale, or a Slacker Digital Sag Tool. Let’s go over each:
While simple, this method can be imprecise due to human error, maintaining the correct angle, and some math involved.
For example, on my Harley-Davidson Street Glide with 3 inches of rear travel:
Different motorcycles will have varied travel distances and, consequently, different sag settings. My Husqvarna TE300 sag setting is around 110 mm.
For my Harley-Davidson Street Glide, I use the Wilbers LDC Nivomat Suspension System, which I’ve reviewed extensively. This suspension automatically adjusts itself based on load, so once it’s set, it recalibrates on the go to maintain the correct sag as I add or remove weight (e.g., passengers or luggage). It’s incredibly stable, and I highly recommend it for Harley touring bikes. You can find this suspension setup in the Law Abiding Biker Store where we offer customized ordering and support.
Setting sag on your motorcycle is an essential maintenance step for all riders, whether you’re hitting the road, trail, or track. While you can do it with basic tools, investing in a tool like the Slacker Digital Sag Tool makes the process more accurate and saves time. Proper sag ensures your motorcycle handles optimally, increasing safety and ride quality.

In this video, I'm installing an 8″ Light Smoked Harley-Davidson Wind Splitter windshield on my 2024 Street Glide, and I give you a detailed review. Additionally, a 10″ model is available. The standard windshield for the 2024 Harley Street Glide and Road Glide is a 5″ variant. (see video below)
Stay tuned to my YouTube Channel as aftermarket options like Klockwerks and F4 Customs are currently in development for the 2024 Harley models and will be featured in upcoming reviews.

In this article, I’ll give you a detailed walkaround of my newly issued 2023 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide police bike. After getting it fully equipped with police-specific gear, it's now officially in service. I’ll walk you through how we, as a department, decided to set up our police motorcycles, highlighting some of the specialty equipment used. While some features come factory-ready from Harley-Davidson, many others are department-specific or added by third-party vendors. Let’s dive into the details.
When you purchase the Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Police Edition, it’s essentially a regular civilian Electra Glide model with additional features designed for law enforcement. Here’s what comes out of the factory:
A key difference between police bikes and civilian models is the added emergency lighting and siren system:
Police communication is essential, and here’s how we have our communication systems set up:
Many features are customized based on our agency’s needs. Here are some notable modifications we’ve made:
In addition to police-specific features, I’ve equipped my bike with several products donated from the Law Abiding Biker™ Store
Tractor Seat: This seat is designed to provide a more aggressive riding position, perfect for police work. While it’s not ideal for long-distance touring, it’s excellent for quick maneuvers during daily activities.
One commonly asked question is about how we mount and dismount our bikes. Here’s why we do it the way we do:
One of the first things you'll notice on a police motorcycle is the advanced lighting system. Our recent build features LED emergency lighting on the trunk, rear, and front, all of which are highly customizable to fit your agency’s needs. When it comes to safety, visibility is key, especially when you're out on the road every day.
Whether you're using the bike for patrols or emergency situations, having customizable lighting that can change patterns and colors is essential for ensuring you’re seen by other drivers.
One of the biggest upgrades we made was replacing the smaller police trunk from older models with a standard-size Tour Pack. This larger trunk offers much more space for essential equipment and is easier to organize.
We also worked with a local vendor to install a steel mounting plate to organize and secure the technology, including a modem for internet access, ensuring the bike is fully equipped for modern law enforcement duties.
Due to the high power demands of the lighting, computer, and communication systems, an additional battery was installed in the trunk. The system is designed to charge both batteries, ensuring that the bike remains fully operational without draining the main battery.
Organization is crucial when you’re on the road all day, which is why we installed Lid Tether Pouches in the saddlebags. These pouches replace the factory tethers and add valuable storage space for keys, registration papers, charging cords, and other small items.
These modifications are available through the Law Abiding Biker™ Store, and they make a huge difference in keeping the bike organized and gear easy to access during your shift.
To stay connected with dispatch and other units, we equipped the bike with high-tech communication gear, including a Bluetooth helmet system that integrates with the motorcycle's radio system.
One of the most exciting aspects of this build was getting the green light for some performance upgrades. We installed a Stage One Kit, including a Screamin' Eagle high-flow intake and exhaust system, to improve airflow and enhance performance.
Comfort is key, especially for officers spending long hours in the saddle. The addition of adjustable levers and an extended brake pedal greatly improved both comfort and safety.
These upgrades ensure that officers can ride comfortably and react swiftly in high-stress situations, significantly improving rider safety.
Keeping your bike looking sharp and running smoothly is a top priority. We use two main products, available in the Law Abiding Biker™ Store, to keep our police fleet spotless:
Both of these cleaners are affordable and highly effective, keeping your bike looking like new without breaking the bank.
Every police department has its own setup for their motorcycles, but there are also many similarities nationwide. The additions we’ve made help make our bikes more functional for daily use in law enforcement. I hope this walkaround has answered your questions.
