UPDATE: Version 1.20.3 is NO Different than veriosn 1.20.2
Harley Davidson and Harman Kardon just released Boom!™ Box software update version 1.20.3 in January of 2017. There are just some small behind the scenes fixes to version 1.20.2 that was released on October 17, 2016. Many of you know, HD pulled 1.20.2 shortly after release as some bikers were having problems. It's all fixed in 1.20.3 now.
So check the video out below for 1.20.2 and know that it's the same for 1.20.3
Harley Davidson and Harman Kardon just released Boom!™ Box software update version 1.20.2 on October 17, 2016. This comes after software update versions 1.20.1 was released in August 2016. We have received many inquiries from bikers asking if they should update to this latest version. It is always a good idea to wait and see if an update fixes more than it breaks and let me have some time to test things.
Note: This particular update if for the Boom Box 4.3 Standard, 6.5T Premium, and the CVO 6.5GT systems. I give the go ahead to update to this new Boom Box software update version, 1.20.2.
iPhone Siri Functionality!
Of particular interest in this update is integration with iPhone's Siri functions. However, a headset with boom mic will be needed. Once you have connected your iPhone to the Boom Box via Bluetooth, you can push and hold the voice command button on the left control cluster for five seconds. Then Siri will be activated and through your headset mic you can give Siri all the commands we are all used to and hear her responses. You can get directions, find nearby restaurants, play songs, albums, podcasts, and skip to new songs by simply telling Siri!
You'll want your iPhone perched up where you can see it in a Biker Gripper , the sexiest, sleekest, and strongest cell phone motorcycle mount on the market.
Don't worry, as you still may want use the GPS built into the Boom Box and you can. Instead of holding the voice command button for five seconds you simply push it quickly and let up and the Boom Box voice command menu will appear instead of Siri activation. Then, through your headset mic you can give the Boom Box all the specific commands we have all become accustomed to, such as navigation.
I installed and tested this software update for you. As usual, don't expect any miracles and that suddenly all things will be fixed for ever user. They still have a long way to go to get rid of all the problems that persist with the Harley Boom!™ Box Infotainment System. We are all skeptical that they'll ever get the Boom Box working perfectly at this point.

Question: If I get behind on updating my Boom Box software, will I have to go back and install each past update I missed?
Answer: No, you do not have to update incrementally. If you get behind, just grab the latest software update here and install it. It will update everything you need including past updates. There is no access to the older updates from the Harley website anyways.

Video-How to MotoVlog-Cameras, Microphones, Helmets, Setup-GoPro | Complete Guide
Video-I get asked all the time about what equipment I use and what my exact setup is in my YouTube videos when I motovlog. There are many poor motovlogging setup and gear videos out there on YouTube and I wanted to do it right.
In this completely free and comprehensive video, I show you everything you need to know to get started motovlogging. A motovlog is a type of video log recorded by a person while riding a motorcycle. The motorcyclist uses a camera on his/her helmet with an attachable microphone. I'm a biker and actually pefer to call it bikervlogging. I have many years of experience motovlogging and have tested a ton of equipment. I supply you with all the knowledge I've learned during those years.
Note: The exact equipment I talk about in this video is listed below this article and video.
Podcast & Article of Interest: Episode #123
I get very detailed in this video and break it down for you. I show you exactly what action cameras to use, what settings, what cases, what microphones, what helmets to use and everything in between. There are many things that need to be considered on your setup and placement is key. This video is a great place to start, so you get it right the first time.
You'll have to decide what your purpose for motovlogging is. If you're thinking you'll simply motovlog, post it to YouTube, and then have a ton of views and subscribers……..well then you might not be thinking clearly. It takes a ton of knowledge, experience, dedication, creativity, blood, sweat, & tears to have a successful YouTube channel. You might want to just start out motovlogging for your own purposes or to share with your friends and family. Test the waters so to speak and see where it goes from there.
I show you many different motovlogging camera angles and shots you may consider. I also give you audio examples when using the different microphones discussed in the video.
If your getting started and for many of you, the free GoPro Studio editing software will work just fine. If you're on a Mac then the free built in iMovie software will likely suffice. You can use an equivalent free PC editing software of your choice (I'm not a PC guy). I do rather advanced video editing and use Final Cut Pro X (FCPX) on my Mac. I also use Adobe Premiere at times. Both FCPX and Premiere are advanced and very powerful, but they both have a steep learning curve to be good with them. I've been using them for years and learn new things frequently.

Video-How To Replace a Harley Primary Drive Auto Chain Tensioner | Complete Guide
Video-In this completely free DIY video we show you how to remove and replace a primary drive auto chain tensioner on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The purpose of this device is to keep the appropriate amount of tension on your primary chain and they do fail sometimes. If that happens, you'll know and you'll hear slapping and banging noises in your primary chaincase.
You'll also need to replace the chain tensioner at some point when you get much higher miles on your Harley. We show you how to inspect the friction point where chain rides on the tensioner. You can see the exact auto chain tensioner we used at the bottom of this article.
Yup, we'll show you how to remove your outer primary cover, access the chain tensioner, and remove it. We'll also show you some tips and tricks along the way. Then we show you how to install a new auto chain tensioner.
Note: You'll need a replacement primary cover gasket for this project.
Save yourself a ton of money by not having to take your Harley to the dealership to have these types of projects done. You can do this right in your very own shop or garage and right on the kickstand. Plus, have the absolute satisfaction of wrenching on your own Harley!
