If you're a Harley-Davidson enthusiast looking for a reason to hit the road, the 2025 Let's Ride Challenge: Ride for Heroes is the perfect opportunity. This nationwide event runs from March 28th through October 31st and is open to U.S. residents only. Not only will you have the chance to log miles and win incredible prizes, but you'll also contribute to a great cause—Harley-Davidson is donating up to $1 million to charities supporting veterans, military personnel, and first responders.
As a 30-year law enforcement officer and motorcycle officer, this cause is deeply personal to me. Plus, Harley-Davidson is giving away five brand-new 2025 Harley-Davidson motorcycles! Below, I'll break down everything you need to know to get involved.
How to Register for the 2025 Let's Ride Challenge
Step 1: Visit a Participating Dealership
To begin, find a participating dealership. You can do this by visiting the official Let's Ride Challenge page.
Step 2: Scan the QR Code & Register
Once you're at the dealership, locate the Let's Ride Challenge sign with a QR code. Scan it with your smartphone, which will open a registration page. Enter your mobile number and follow the prompts to complete your profile with details like:
- Name
- Zip code
- Birthday
- VIN of your Harley-Davidson
- Current odometer reading
Step 3: Get Your Odometer Verified
A dealership representative will verify your VIN and mileage using a special verification QR code. Once this is done, you're officially signed up!
Step 4: Collect Your Keywords
Before you leave the dealership, locate three signs with unique keywords and enter them into the same webpage. These keywords help increase your Rev Score, improving your chances of winning prizes.
How to Earn Engagements & Boost Your Rev Score
Your Rev Score determines your ranking in the challenge. You can earn engagements by:
- Updating your mileage: Each dealer-verified odometer reading earns 20 engagements (max of 56 updates during the challenge).
- Collecting keywords: Each dealership visit allows you to find three new keywords, worth 10 engagements each(max of 84 keywords).
- Visiting new dealerships: Your first verified mileage update at a new dealership earns an extra 5 engagements.
Pro Tip: Save the Let's Ride Challenge webpage to your smartphone’s home screen for quick access to your stats and progress.

Join Me on This Epic Challenge!
I'm especially excited about the Let's Ride Challenge because my 2025 motorcycle documentary film is being sponsored by Harley-Davidson! My crew and I will be riding through Canada, British Columbia, Alberta, Alaska, and the Yukon Territory for 12 days while logging miles at dealerships and increasing our Rev Score. The film will air as a multi-part series in September 2025.
