Harley Davidson has equipped all 2014 and later touring models with the Boom Box Bluetooth Headset Speakers ArtBoom!™ Box Infotainment System. Frustrating to many bikers/motorcyclists,  is the fact that there is absolutely no Bluetooth headset communication system capable of pairing with the system (UPDATE-CHECK HERE!). There is still a fully functional wired Harley headset solution.

In this article and video I go over utilizing a completely separate in-helmet style Bluetooth capable communication & speaker system to listen to music, make phone calls, and talk to other bikers in your group.

Sometimes in town with my visor up a bit on my full face modular helmet or when wearing my half helmet, I listen to my music on my Boom!™ Box system speakers. I play the music on my Boom Box via a Bluetooth connection on my smartphone, which is mounted securely in my Biker Gripper Cell Phone & GPS Mount. I added a J&M Audio Rokker Extreme Front Fairing Amplifier & Speakers.

As stated in past articles, I really do back Harley Davidson on many things and love their products. However, I call these Boom Box issues “The Harley Davidson/Harman Kardon debacle.” In a hurry to release and finish their Harley Rushmore Project bikes, my opinion is that they hurried on getting the Boom!™ Box system installed in these new models when it was not fully developed and tested.

Unfortunately, Harley Davidson has been silent about the large scale issues that are causing many very loyal customers to loose faith and cause anger towards company. In silence, developers for HD are working feverishly to release unannounced Boom Box software updates to try and fix all the bugs and issues. Further, several of the updates have fixed some things and broken others! That is why many around the world are coming to Law Abiding Biker™ Media to get the real scoop, for help, and to stay up to date. Harley Dealerships have actually purchased our Boom!™ Box Tutorial Video Series and have personally reached out to us for help. They too have been left in the dark on many of the issues by the mother ship.

VIDEO-When you remove the rear wheel from your Harley Davidson then you will need to check the tension or deflection of your final/secondary drive belt after you put it back on.

A belt that it too tight will whine and can cause transmission leaks or belt failure. A belt that it too loose  or misaligned can jump cogs on the rear drive sprocket. You should also check it during routine oil changes and maintenance.

In this free video we show you everything you need to know to install an aftermarket batwing fairing on your Honda VTX. Save you money and do both of these projects by yourself right on the kickstand in your very own shop or garage. Only basic tools are needed and there is no need to pay a dealership to do this.

Video-If you own and ride a Honda VTX motorcycle then you have probably wondered what it would take to have a stereo and speakers installed. There is nothing better for long cross-country riding than having a fairing and stereo system. Stereos & fairings are great for daily riding too! Before you install a stereo and speakers you will need to install an aftermarket batwing style fairing first. Of course we have a free video on that.

Once you have your aftermarket fairing installed you are ready to check this video out. In this free video we show you everything you need to know so you can install a stereo head unit, speakers, and complete all associated wiring!
