VIDEO-An extension cord retractable reel can be a great addition to your shop or work space. While working on you motorcycle you can simply pull the cord down from the ceiling or wall and it has 3 outlets. When you are done with cord you can simply let the retractable wheel take it back in. This tends to keep your shop floor clear of a bunch of cords that can be in the way or tripped over. Certainly not a necessity, but can be a great addition to your space where you wrench on your motorcycle.
In this video I show you a Craftsman brand extension cord retractable reel with a 30 foot 14 gauge cord. This is the Craftsman “professional” series, but you could just get the regular Craftsman base model and save a few bucks.

I am very pleased with this reel. Seems to be holding up fine and keeps my shop floor free of cords and clutter. I love that it has 3 outlets, so I can plug in more than one thing. Great addition to my shop for wrenching on motorcycles.
