This morning, I headed to my local Harley-Davidson dealership, Apple State Powersports in Yakima, Washington, to check out an exciting new arrival. They just got in one of the 2025 Harley-Davidson Street Glides featuring the premium Midnight Firestorm factory custom paint scheme. This design boasts stunning, subdued ghost flames that add a refined yet bold aesthetic to the bike. I had to see it in person, and of course, I’m here to share the details with you! (see video below)
About the Midnight Firestorm Paint Scheme
The Midnight Firestorm paint option is available on black trim models of the 2025 Street Glide and Road Glide. It’s a sleek and sophisticated design with silver ghost flames gracefully running across the fairing, fuel tank, side panels, front fender, and saddlebags. If you’re a fan of understated but impactful designs, this paint job is for you. Keep in mind, it’s not available on chrome-trim bikes, which limits your customization options if you prefer the traditional chrome look.

For those looking for variety, Harley-Davidson also introduced the Whiskey Firestorm paint scheme, offering a different take on the ghost flame design. Both options are premium upgrades priced at around $2,900, making them a standout choice for riders who want a unique, custom look straight from the factory.
Dealership Experience
If you’re in the Yakima, Washington area, I highly recommend stopping by Apple State Powersports. They treated me exceptionally well when I purchased my 2024 Harley-Davidson Street Glide, and their customer service continues to impress. I even made a video about my 2024 purchase experience,

A Walkaround of the 2025 Street Glide
The Midnight Firestorm design is truly a nod to Harley-Davidson’s heritage. As someone who remembers the ghost flames on older models like my 2005 Wide Glide, I love how this paint job brings a nostalgic yet modern vibe.
- Ghost Flames: The subtle silver flames flow seamlessly from the front fairing to the rear saddlebags. The subdued design ensures the bike remains elegant without being too flashy.
- Overall Build: The 2025 Street Glide retains much of the design introduced in the 2024 models, including the updated saddlebags and the powerful Milwaukee-Eight 117 engine with water-cooled heads.
- Infotainment System: The bike is equipped with the Infotainment Control Unit (IFCU) introduced in 2024, which consolidates all gauges and controls into one seamless system. After using this system extensively on my 2024 Street Glide, I can confidently say it’s a game-changer for long rides.
