The new Harley-Davidson 2020 models are coming with the Reflex Defensive Rider System (RDRS) as a $995 option for the touring line-up except for the Electra Glide Standard. RDRS comes standard on the Livewire, Tri-Glide Ultra trike, and all CVO models.
In this video, I explain what's included in the package and if it is worth adding it to your 2020 Harley touring model. The Reflex Defensive Rider System comes with cornering enhanced electronic linked braking, cornering enhanced antilock braking system, cornering enhanced traction control system, drag-torque slip control system, vehicle hold control, and a tire pressure monitoring system. (see the video below for a full explanation)

I have a 2020 Harley ultra limited with RDRS. In my case the tire monitoring is off by 2 pound of air. Also about 80 mph on the highway once a while the tire monitoring would go on and off. I have not try the motorcycle on a wet road but the rdrs work very good when riding on gravel

Is the wiring harness already there except for the controls or do you have to purchase a new wiring harness? I have a 2020 Ultra Limited that didn’t come with the RDSR system. I just wanted to know if I could get it added or not.
Thanks

Ryan, Thanks for the straight forward, non-dealer review. I like how you emphasize the number 1 factor; training and rider skill first. I’ve been looking to upgrade to a newer model, and seeing this option, I wanted to get some other input. This video, along with other reviews is helping me make a more informed decision. Thank you.
