That way you can strip the bike down when necessary to look more like a Street Glide or Road Glide. You'll need to consider rear signal relocation and we're here to help! On 2014 & newer Harley Ultras the signals are built into the trunk system. So, when you remove it you'll be w/o signals unless you mount some secondary relocated signals.

Video-Bugslide-Best Motorcycle Denim Paint Waterless Cleaner | Better Than Harley Denim Cleaner

Bugslide Denim Art Final copyVideo-We get asked all the time here at Law Abiding Biker™ Podcast & Media…….what is the best & safest waterless motorcycle cleaner to use on Harley-Davidson denim paint or any motorcycle paint for that matter?

The answer is definitely Bugslide. It is completely safe and highly recommended by us for use on Harley denim paint. I actually tested Bugslide for years on a 2011 Harley Street Glide I owned with black denim paint. I also tested it for a year using Bugslide on a 2007 Harley Night Train with pewter denim paint. Buglside is good not only for denim paint, but all motorcycle paints.

You'll want to be careful about using waxes and certain cleaners on Harley denim paint as they will shine the dull paint look over time. Bugslide will not do that and cleans denim paint like a dream.  Bugslide will remove the bugs, grease, and dirt with ease. BugSlide leaves a protective, microscopic finish that continuously repels dust, dirt, water and fingerprints.  Buglside is tested by bikers for bikers in a real world environment.

Harley-Davidson makes what they call a denim paint cleaner. Of course, they stamp their logo on it and mark the price up. I tested Harley's denim paint cleaner and Bugslide blew it away in every way.

Remember, Harley's denim paint cleaner is really only for denim paint. Bugslide works on denim paint and all paints. Bugslide is free of abrasives and is safe on all non-porous surfaces including; paint, chrome, glass, fiberglass, acrylic, aluminum, plexiglas, plastic, lexan, vinyl and leather. I threw the single purpose Harley denim paint cleaner in the trash.

Don't worry, we also have you covered for a wet wash motorcycle cleaner! Yes, for both denim paint and all motorcycle paints. For wet washes, my #1 go-to cleaner is Bike Brite Motorcycle Spray Wash Cleaner & Degreaser.

It's simple………for wet washing & restoration I use Bike Brite Products. For in between maintenance, shining, and cleaning I use Bugslide!

The best thing about Bugslide is that I never need to wax my Harley again! The release agent in BugSlide contains a UV filter for added protection.

Remove Harley Inner Outer Primary Clutch Compensator Sprocket YT copyVideo-In this completely free video we show you how to completely remove your inner and outer primary drive housings on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. It doesn't really matter the year and make of your Harley as this process is pretty standard. We can say that this video covers 2000 and newer Harley's and likely earlier models.  There are minor changes on bolt sizes etcetera over the years, but the concepts and procedures are pretty much the same.

We show you how to remove the clutch, compensator sprocket, primary chain, chain tensioner, outer housing, and inner primary housing! There are many reasons you may want to remove the primary drive & housings on your Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Maybe your shifter seal is leaking, you need to replace your primary chain, you want to access your final belt drive, you need to replace your primary chain tensioner, you want to install forward controls, or for any other reason.

Are you looking for a little more sound out of them? In this video, we show you how to remove the baffles, remove the fiberglass packing from around the baffles, & put the steel baffles back in.

Note: We cannot know the laws for every State and locality & they are ever changing. You are solely responsible for any exhaust changes or modifications. You are responsible for being in compliance with the laws in your area.

This will definitely increase the sound coming out of your Vance & Hines mufflers. We did this project specifically on Lurch's Vance & Hines Titan 450 Oversized Slip-On Mufflers that we installed on his 2015 Harley-Davidson Road Glide Special some time ago. They sounded great, but he wanted a bit more sound and we got it!

At the end of this video we do a full comparison and how the pipes sounded with the fiberglass packing in and with it removed!

On a newer stock Harley Street Glide, you will likely want to only consider the control mount system. That is because newer Harley Street Glides have hydraulic clutches. So, you end up with a clutch reservoir on the left side and a brake reservoir on the right side. This leaves very little room on the bars to mount a universal mount and you may not be able to position the gripper head, so you can see your device straight on.

On a newer Harley Road Glide with a hydraulic clutch you are fine, as the stock handlebars have plenty of pull back and room for a universal mount Biker Gripper, should you choose that option.

Note: Newer Victory motorcycles do not use the standard control mount clamp and pinch bolts around the handlebar control clusters like you see on many other motorcycle brands. For that reason, you'll definitely want to go with the Biker Gripper universal mount system and there is plenty of exposed handlebar to do so with plenty of room for adjustment.
